HOUSE KALÚ
At Lisbon´s Principe Real, a available lot was the setting of this project.
With acessibility through two different streets, the house was set between other houses, wich allowed little to no room for a facade opening. The main road where the house is set is long but narrow, wich limits the natural light entrance in the lot.
So the house grew inward, creating a life of itself behind closed doors and through two patios: one up front, and another on the back of the lot.
All staircases werer put on the left of the house, giving way to design the house like stack cube, one over the other, creating spaces of light and spaces of darkness, at the same time that balconies appear.
