HOUSE PINHEIRO

A couple with three children asked to design a project for a new lot they´ve just bought in Évora, the biggest town in the Alentejo Region.

The lot was located outside the Roman walls of the historic centre, but right in the middle of an urban site, filled with residential houses and their own back gardens.

The project was to get every space needed in a very long but narrow lot. The house, with 2 floors, one basement and an attic, was to have a swimming pool in the backyard.

The project never got built, nevertheless, it was a major opportunity to explore residential living in a large populated area in Portugal.
